seeing...(clouds)
/I think it was the top image (and this cold, rainy day) that started my tunnel vision for cloud-inspired things. I keep trying to figure out a way I can throw a party where it would be appropriate to create the cotton-y clouds- how fun would dozens of these hanging from a ceiling be? Perhaps a come knock the grey days away party in the dead of a Seattle (or Nashville, for that matter) winter? Perhaps a party that had rainbow-inspired items? I don't know. What I do know is me-likey.
from top: cotton Carl Kleiner clouds via red thread; you are my sunshine paper via whimsy press; rainbow cupcakes and cloud cookies via hello naomi; plywood clouds via poppytalk; cotton cloud pillows via design sponge; cloud poufs via fine little day.
popcorn holder
/I believe MS popularized the idea of a cone holder for popcorn and such, and Nathalie has 'done good', as some Southerners might say, with this idea. I love the monochromatic colors of the popcorn and stripes.
nashville in bloom
/I picked some flowers from our yard this morning, since the weather dipped from the high 70's yesterday, to the mid-50's today.I knew my pretty blooms would die with the cold weather slated for the rest of the week, so I decided to snip so I could enjoy them for at least a little bit. So much is in bloom- daffodils, forsythia, tulip magnolias, pear trees- it's all so lovely. Fresh flowers are such a mood lifter!
