vroom, vroom

Anyone with a little boy can attest to their obsession with things that 'go'...cars, trains, trucks, etcetera. This car-inspired party from mom Amber is too cute...loads of inspiration you won't want to miss. Check out the 'hot rod hot dogs', race car pinata, the well-designed 'red light, green light' game and much more right here

'nursery rhymes' 3rd birthday

Check out this adorable 'nursery rhymes' birthday from mom Margaret. The celebration featured a number of classic nursery rhymes in a variety of interesting ways (including 3 blind mice cookies, a Humpty Dumpty cake, 3 men in a tub snacks, etcetera). I love all of her creative interpretations

reader question of the week #2

reader question of the week #2:

"Every year I volunteer for a charity table setting luncheon and I am in my last couple weeks of planning. This year my theme is based around school and I always try to go over the top with details. I plan on cafeteria trays, dunce cap, hall pass, chalkboard tabletop (or something else), pop quiz, oilcloth sack lunch favors, etc. I am looking for out of the box ideas, napkin rings, glassware, centerpieces, unexpected additions, anything. I like to use things unexpectedly, but also mostly things I can do myself due to expenses. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated-Thank you! -Amber"
