Birthday season is in full swing at the Malone house. Our almost 9 year-old is still into dogs, reading and sports! Together, we brainstormed a party favor that would be more earth-friendly (no single-use items or something easily disposed of) and within her color palette of turquoise, mint and gold. We are both happy with how it turned out! See sources, below.

1… Emoji gumballs (in 24 packs of 5) and dog stickers were ordered from here 2… We decided to buy personalized pencils from Etsy (here is the seller we used) with the two phrases ‘BE THE SPARK THAT LIGHTS THE WORLD’ and ‘EVERY DREAM BEGINS WITH A DREAMER’. We went with Etsy because we were able to order in small batches (a total of 40 pencils) 3… Party balloon and heart stickers came from here, though you might need to go in-store to purchase (I was only able to find the stars online) 4… The pencil cases were the biggest steal. Only $1 each at Office Depot! If you order online you will have to take what they ship you. We were able to pick out the colors we wanted by buying in store.
